Chaos [VILLAIN]
The ultimate evil, a big guy with wings. Incidentally,
one of Vincent's Limit Breaks in 7 allows him to turn into
Chaos. Kind of cheap, isn't it?

Darryl
Though she never mentions her name when you speak to her, it
can be deduced through dialogue with a mermaid in the sunken shrine
that she was a former mermaid who grew legs. She comments on how nice
her legs are. Only named in NA NES version.

Garland [VILLAIN]
A knight who forges an unholy alliance with the Four
Fiends, entering a 2000-year loop which renders him
practically immortal. He transforms into Chaos, the
ultimate evil (and will knock you all down).

of Cornelia, Sarah's mother. She worries about her
daughter.

investigating the overworld.

Kary
(Aliases: Kary (NES NA), Marilith (NES JP, PSX,
GBA) The Fiend of Fire. Note that she actually
resembles Kali, the multi-armed Hindu deity; the first
documented instance of Engrish! Kary reappears in FF9 as
the Chaos of Fire, Maliris.

Onlak who saw a robot fall to earth.
